GFBDC/GBCovers

It all started when the founder of GBFDC established the only GB First Day Cover collectors club in the world after he retired. There are now over 300 members.

As explained in "About GBFDC", he handed the Association over to younger members to run in February 1998, at which time GBCovers became completely separated from GBFDC.

It is important to mention here that all the productions referred to are "Official Covers", (Which means that the handstamp was sponsored and the envelopes produced by the same person).

He continued to make the same series of covers, but from GB25, "The Royal Wedding", they are no longer Association Official Covers, they are GBCovers Official covers.
